Privacy Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
In short: my apps don't collect your personal data, and I never see it. Anything an app saves stays on your device, in your own iCloud account, or with the people you choose to share it with.
This policy covers every app published by Adam Kaump under the Pink Shirt Friday name ("I", "me").
Data I collect
None. My apps have no accounts, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting services or tracking of any kind, and I don't operate servers that they send your data to.
Data stored on your device
Apps save things like your progress, game or quiz history, settings, grocery lists and recipes, so they're there next time. This is never sent to me, and is removed from a device when you delete the app there.
iCloud sync
Some apps sync that data between your devices using iCloud. It's stored in your own private iCloud account, which I can't see or access, and you can turn it off in your device's iCloud settings.
Sharing
When you share a Kitchen Sync household, the people you invite can see and edit its list, recipes and stores, and the name you give yourself. A shared household is stored in the iCloud account of the person who shared it. You can stop sharing, or leave a household you joined, at any time.
Location
Kitchen Sync can use your location, if you allow it, to switch to the store you're at and to remind you of your list when you arrive. Your location is checked on your device and never sent to me. Store addresses you save are shared with your household. My other apps don't ask for or use your location.
Services provided by Apple
Some apps use features provided by Apple. These are covered by the Apple Privacy Policy, and I don't receive any information from them.
- Apple Maps: apps with maps request map imagery from Apple for the area you're viewing. When you look up a store in Kitchen Sync, your search is sent to Apple Maps.
- Apple Intelligence and Image Playground: Kitchen Sync uses these to guess aisles, suggest ingredients and draw icons. They run on your device.
- Siri and Shortcuts: if you use Siri with Kitchen Sync, your requests are handled by Apple.
- Game Center: if you're signed in to Game Center, apps that support it report your achievements and leaderboard scores to Apple under your Game Center profile. You can sign out in your device's settings.
- iCloud: used only for the sync and sharing described above.
Children
Because my apps collect no data, they collect no data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and its effective date. If an app ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
